Wow! Rowan checked her calendar, and she’s a busy pup this weekend!
On Saturday, October 5, 2024 she’ll be at the Chocolate Town Book Fest in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
And then it’s off to the pine covered hills at Kings Gap for the Garden Harvest on Sunday, October 6.

Rowan is on a roll – she’s going to her next book-signing!
She’ll be at the annual Christmas Craft Show, held at the Carlisle High School in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
You’ll find her manning her table on the second floor of the Fowler Building.
The craft show begins at 9 am and runs all day until 3 pm. This event benefits the CHS Model U.N. team.
Rowan will be available to “sign” her books with a special paw-print stamp. Barbara Morris, the author of her books, will also sign any copies purchased.

Rowan is going to her very first book-signing!
She will be at the Albatwitch Day – pronounced “Alba-twitch” – on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in the river town of Columbia, Pennsylvania.
Founded by paranormal investigator Rick Fisher and now in its 10th year, Albatwitch Day will begin at 11 am and run all day until 5 pm, with lectures on paranormal topics, live music, and trolley tours of Columbia (hosted by historian Chris Vera) on the schedule, as well as food trucks and numerous vendors.
It’s fun for the whole family!

The first two books in the Rowan Adventure Stories series have been entered in a contest!
For the past 40 years, Writer’s Digest has held a special competition for self-published books, and this year, the authors of Rowan’s adventures have entered the first two books in the series ~ Meet Rowan the Hearing Assist Dog and Rowan is Growin’ ~ in the category “Early Readers / Children’s Picture Books”.
First prize in each category is $1000, plus the winning book’s title announced in Writer’s Digest Magazine.
One grand prize winner will be chosen, too ~ with a prize of $10,000, and a paid trip to this year’s Writer’s Digest Annual Conference.
