Meet Rowan, the Hearing Assist Dog, is the first book in the Rowan Adventure Stories series.
Rowan the Red Labrador puppy doesn’t know she’s going to be a special dog – a Hearing Assist dog!
That’s a big responsibility for a little puppy. But dogs like to have a job, and Rowan is ready for anything.
Meet Rowan, the Hearing Assist Dog follows the young pup as she learns to be a service dog and adjusts to her new home. There are lots of lessons to learn, but there’s playtime, too, with her dog buddies and cat friends.
Full-color photographs illustrate her adventures, plus an easy-to-understand narrative make this a perfect bedtime or anytime story for children ages 2 to 8.
Rowan is a real Hearing Assist dog, in training at the time this book was written and published. She was born in Lodi, California.
